The fruits and vegetables we eat are handled by large numbers of individuals. It includes farmers who grow and harvest these foods and others who package, cook and serve them to us. This experiment demonstrates the use of a rapid detection of bacterial (coliform) contamination in fresh vegetables and fruits.

 

Includes: Coliform Detection Brothâ„¢, Coliform Control Sample, Microtest tubes with caps, sterile Calibrated Pipets, content background, experiment procedures, safety information, assessment questions and answers.
