In this experiment, bacteria are grown on nutrient agar and common household items, such as detergents and cleaners, are tested for their effectiveness as antibacterial agents. This experiment also introduces sterile techniques and proper disposal procedures.

 

Includes: Non-pathogenic Bacteria, Petri plates, Bacterial nutrient agar, Sterile swabs, Filter paper disc, content background, experiment procedures, safety information and assessment questions and answers.
