Biology Basics Concept Set^TM

(Components for 6 groups of students)

 

This Concept Set™ provides students with the opportunity to have hands on experience to learn about three important experiments that are building blocks of biology and introductory biotechnology. The first is staining bacteria to identify and characterize microbes. The second deals with the principles of chromatography and how it is used to separate biological molecules. The third experiment deals with diffusion and osmosis that are key concepts for understanding cell function. All three experiments are designed with safe components when used as described.
